Lab Safety!

To kick the semester off with a bang, we are going to go over a few Laboratory Safety Rules!

 Please watch the following video and comment with which rule you feel is most important in the lab and why you chose that rule.

    The rule that stroke a note with me was: "do not smell the chemicals". It is such a instinctual act to do, it is hard to resist!

      That is absolutely a NO-NO in labs!! You never know what harmful chemicals you could be dealing with!

    This video is amazing! Such a great way to introduce lab safety rules at the beginning of the school year instead of using basic instruction. The rule that stood out to me the most was the fact that they should always wear goggles! They should always protect themselves in the lab! Great Blog!
